🐡 Audi Q7 E Tron Charging Problems

The Audi EVSE comes with a NEMA 14-50 plug for use on 240V circuits (Level 2 charging) and a NEMA 5-15 plug for 120V circuits (Level 1 charging). Audi doesn't disclose the full specifications for its EVSE, but here is what I've experienced in the US on 120V & 240V circuits. The Amperage is assumed, because the EVSE doesn't report any data so The vehicle was failing to charge from the mains charger unit supplied with the vehicle. Note: Such charging methods are referred to as “Mode 2 charging” that utilise the domestic mains supply via a 3-pin plug. Their typical consumption is around 10 A with a power output of approximately 2.2 kW. The e-tron Service Plan is included in your purchase of a new e-tron model with your local Audi dealer and services can be redeemed at any Audi dealer across the Republic of Ireland. The e-tron Service Plan covers 2 services over 4 years or 60,000kms, whichever comes first, plus the most required maintenance items such as safety inspections and in the owner's manual on page 111, there is a section called Emergency Release of the charging cable. Opening the hood and just above the fender charging port door, there is a small door. Open the door and there is a yellow loop cord. Pull the yellow cord and the charge plug will release. But instead of using a Formula E battery pack like the RS Q e-tron does, the S1 Hoonitron uses four 17.3-kWh lithium ion battery packs, each originally destined for life in the Audi Q7 e-tron plug Has anybody else seen an issue like this, and is there any DIY way of fixing it, before going thru, pls change your podpoint box (few 100s quid), cable (another few 100s quid), and then finally take car to the garage for checkup / repair under warranty 😉 Appreciate all advice and help. I had to do a bit of searching to find the solution. With the new style changer (top has 50% / 100% lights), there is a button that doesn't look or feel like a button At the outlet, we’re seeing proper grounding and ~220v. But when I plug in the Audi charger that came with the car, it lights up green - and then it flips to what’s shown in the attached photo. Solid red top three lights. The manual references an issue with the ground or a fault in the charger. K7ms6N.
